Screen-Grabs from short film

I was recently the cinematographer for a friend's short film. I will post a link when the film gets online. For now here are a couple screen-grabs from the footage. Filmed in anamorphic with my Panasonic GH3. This has really been my only chance to try out the new camera as I have been working so much lately.

Anamorphic Christmas Portraits

Was messing around with my New Panasonic GH3. I've mostly only done video with it, but it is a very capable stills camera. These were taken in JPEG mode with a nikon lens and Kowa anamorphic adapter.

Quick and dirty portrait done with D800 and my newly acquired anamorphic lens.

Red

Crazy red moon tonight. Since the longest lens I own is an 85mm I could not get a very close crop with my D800. The visible grain is from shooting at 3200 ISO and pushing the shadows a few stops.

Storm

Storm rolled in today. Snapped a photo with my newly acquired Fuji x100 which will replace my Panasonic GF1 as my walk around point and shoot.

Northwood Zoo

The Northwood Zoo was probably the most interesting Zoo I have ever been to. The staff are friendly and present, and the animals are nowhere near as isolated off and far away from onlookers as some other zoos. These photographs were all taken with a Nikon 70-200, Nikon D4 and D800.

These first four are with the D4.

The photographs from here on are all from the Nikon D800.

D800-First shots

First time out with my D800 where is was not playing with the video function. As far as the stills are concerned I am very impressed. Lots of detail and dynamic range. These files are a bit larger than I normally upload. I just wanted some of the detail to show.

Christina and Adam

A little while back I photographed Christina and Adam's wedding in Toronto. The weather was near perfect and the Old Mill was as beautiful as always. A fun wedding and a great couple to work with.
